LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
 
Job Description:
Knowledgeable in preparing all raw chemicals, specimens, and supplies needed in the experiments.
Experience as custodian/dispensing duties on of before laboratory exercises for the laboratory apparatus/equipments
In-charge of maintenance and inventory of the laboratory materials and equipment
Ensure the safety rules and procedures in the laboratory
Perform administrative and supporting tasks to the faculty member in the laboratory if needed.
Knowledge in troubleshooting technical issues with laboratory equipment and apparatus
Updated on best practices in laboratory management, safety protocols, educational methodologies
Qualifications:
Preferably a graduate of BS in Medical Technology (with or without licence) or any four (4) year course in the sciences (i.e. Biology, Chemistry)
Experienced laboratory technician in a medical school (is an advantage)
At least one (1) year working experience in the laboratory works; willing to be trained
Proficient in both oral and written communication
