Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Biology or other related courses. 2. At least 1 year of experience in an academic Biology laboratory. 3. Job Description/Summary Generally, is assigned to a combination of work activities relative to the operation, supervision, organization, maintenance, and safekeeping of electrical machinery, equipment, apparatus, spare parts, and other similar items under his/her designated area. Duties and responsibilities Prepares the Laboratory experiments/exercises scheduled for the day in his assigned laboratory room. Assists authorized users of equipment/instruments under his designated laboratory area. Recommends the purchase and specification of laboratory instruments, equipment, components, and other similar items according to the laboratory class requirements. Conducts daily inspection of all machines, equipment, glassware, instruments, and other similar items. Promptly reports damages or losses to faculty/Instructor and to the Laboratory Coordinator. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness in the designated laboratory area and all other teaching/research facilities. Performs other related duties as assigned.
