Job Qualification
Registered Chemist
With at least 3 years experience in Laboratory
Knowledge in Gas chromatography (GC) would be an advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the over-all operations of the laboratory.
Ensures that all SOP's are followed to include sample handling, analysis and QA/QC checks.
Performs testing and analyses as defined in the Matrix of Laboratory if necessary. Tests and analyses in accordance with the defined Laboratory procedure.
Compute and review calculations of data results before transferring in the Summary of Results Form and submit signed Results Form Sheet to Testing Manager for review and approval.
Prepares and updates reports related to the analyses performed.
Reviews Certificate of Analysis (CAN) and countersigns.
Coaches laboratory analysts on the performance of test and analyses.
Reviews & evaluates performance of staff.
Handles quality control procedures and prepares documents needed for regular audit
