One of the fastest growing Healthcare Service Provider in Cavite, Human Resources Management and Development Department invites competent individuals to fill in the Laboratory Clerk position here in Our Lady of the Pillar Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities
The Laboratory Clerk is primarily responsible for receiving referrals and charging laboratory diagnostic procedures of inpatients and outpatients in the hospital information system. He/She ensure that the department is functioning based on the existing standard operating procedures concerning patients data encoding, registration and charging of accounts.
Qualifications
Graduate of any four year course preferably Business Administration or its equivalent.
Competencies
Enforces strict compliance to all standard operating procedures on patient encoding for good laboratory outcome.
Records incident reports and forwards to the Office of the Pathologist.
Responsible for requesting of supplies as needed.
Endorses work properly before leaving the laboratory.
Instructs patients on the preparation and collection of specimen.
Receives requests and referrals and accurately charges accounts accordingly.
Types results done by Medical Technologists.
Releases outpatient laboratory results.
Experience
1-2 years of work experience as a Receptionist in a hospital setting.
