About the Role
Cebu Agua Lab Inc. is looking for a dedicated Laboratory Analyst (Microbiological Testing) to join our team. The role involves performing microbiological analysis of water samples, ensuring compliance with laboratory standards, and supporting overall laboratory operations.
 
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct bacteriological analysis of water and wastewater samples.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and accurate records.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret results of water samples.
• Prepare and standardize reagents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Keep accurate analytical data records.
• Investigate and report complaints or delegated issues.
• Assist in budget development and recommend purchases.
• Perform related duties as needed, including on-call and occasional weekend tasks.
• Ensure operations follow Cebu Agua Lab policies and DOH standards.
• Submit reports as required.
• Stay updated with organizational and laboratory developments.
• Perform other duties assigned by the immediate head.
 
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology
• Licensed Medical Technologist
• Familiarity with lab instruments and Standard Methods
• Strong documentation and data-handling skills
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and safety protocols
