The Analog Timing and Sensor Interface (TSI) Group is seeking for a Technician who will provide supports to the Test Engineering Team on New Products ATE and Handler Setup buy-off for breakthrough and other derivative test development projects which currently accounts 30% of ADI's Industrial Automation revenue.
Responsibilities
Performs First Level Verification on ATE setups (New Products, Cost Reduction Projects which includes /V+ Safe Launches).
Troubleshoot setup and serving basic tester debug and document activities.
Supports Test Engineers on verifying ATE Setup robustness for verification, characterization, qualification. This includes collaboration with equipment, process, and product engineering at the ADCV Site.
Collaborates with manufacturing and engineering on critical line engagements.
Participates in implementing programs geared towards efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Submits regular performance or progress reports related to defined goals, metrics, or objectives, including special projects.
Key Qualifications:
Ability to operate tester/handler/prober architecture setup with minimum supervision (ex. Matrix, MT9510, Edge, Exatrons, TELP8XL)
Good problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement fixes
Familiar with the basic test manufacturing process
Knowledgeable in basic problem-solving methodologies and applying it in analyzing problems (ex. 8D, 3x5 why)
Ability to communicate (oral and written) to deliver messages across cross-functional teams
Ability to lead and build rapport with a cross-functional group
Education and Experience:
Graduate of technology course major in Electronics, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Electromechanical, or any equivalent course
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the electronics or semiconductor industry specifically in test manufacturing
Fresh graduate candidates with working experience in the semiconductor test process are an advantage.
With basic knowledge of electronic circuits and understanding and interpreting schematic diagrams.
Basic knowledge in test equipment setup and operation.
