Carry out general cleaning (sweeping, mopping up, washing up, emptying of rubbish bins, and organizing).
Ensure the water temperature and volume of chemicals are appropriate for cleaning.
Check the proper use of chemicals and washing accessories prior to usage.
Takes care of all the silverware/flatware; chinaware and glassware to reduce loss and breakage.
Wash, wipe, sort, and store all cleaned items in an organized manner.
Ensure all Kitchen equipment and wares are clean and ready to use at all times.
Log all broken and lost kitchenware.
Prepare reports on the shortages of chinaware, silverware, and equipment in the Kitchen.
Collect and remove trash from all areas of the kitchen following established procedures.
Dispose of waste as per the hotel and authority standards; and adhere to recycling guidelines.
Ensure the waste bin area is kept clean and tidy.
Assist the chefs as and when necessary.
Assist in receiving stocks and other items as required.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior and the Management
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications
High school graduate
With at least 1 year of experience as a Kitchen Steward but not required.
