JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description
Sets up station, it includes cutting in vegetable, fabrication of meats and seafoods, marination or even advance cooking and portioning of ingredients
Cooks and prepares food according to the standard recipe
Practices proper food handling from receiving, preparing, cooking, cooling and storing of ingredients
Receives deliveries from supplier and from the driver/purchaser
Assists colleagues if needed
Helps in monitoring of inventory including monthly inventory count
Other tasks that may be assigned by his/her superior
JOB QUALIFICATION
Requirements:
Must have at least a High school diploma, Vocational or Associate degree or a Bachelor's degree
Certificate in culinary arts or related field is a plus
With a background in Korean or Asian cuisine
WIth a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role
In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices, food safety, food handling, and cooking methods
Can adapt quickly and willing to work cooperatively and efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant
