Description
1. Prepares the kitchen for a day operation, checks and opens lights and exhaust fan, puts trash bags for each trash basket or drums.
2. Checks and takes out all leftover food in the freezer and chiller to know what menu to prepare.
3. Prepares and slices all the ingredients of the today's menu for the cook.
4. Assists in the cooking of menu upon order.
5. Prepares all kitchen materials, pans, glassware and utensils needed by the cook.
6. Ensures the cleanliness of all kitchen utensils before and after use.
7. Cleans stoves, kitchen flooring and working tables.
8. Keeps and stores all the leftover foods, ingredients in the freezer and chillers.
9. Sees to it that all the sauces, ingredients and other condiments are put in the proper disposal.
10. Removes and properly segregates all garbage and puts in the proper disposal places.
11. Defrosts and cleans freezer at the storeroom upon schedule.
12. Performs other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
