Is currently looking for a KEY ACCOUNTANT
 
Roles and Responsibilities:
·  Prepares and interprets Financial Statements in the operational finance functions of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger
· Ensures that the consolidated Financial Statements are prepared in accordance with the IFRS Accounting Principles
· Supervises and controls the execution of closing and reporting processes while ensuring the compliance of reporting quality and deadlines
· Analyses the figures reported in Financial Statements prior and after reporting to Head Quarters and provides additional information when needed
· Prepares information for internal and external auditors and facilitates discussions to directly discuss and solve findings
· Monitors operational backlogs and service quality in alignment with Finance Operations
· Improves internal working model relating to knowledge management and retention, within operations to build-up process experts within functional teams
· Communicates directly with Finance Operations areas (Madrid) for operational topics and
· Works on improving the communication flow and channels between Mercedes-Benz Group Services Philippines and Mercedes-Benz Group Services Madrid

Must haves...
· Experience of at least 3-8 years of as an expert in Finance & Accounting
· Working knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards
· Background in inter-company management: affiliated account reconciliation, OPEN, analysis and management of differences, clearing reports, ledger periodical reconciliations
· Knowledge on MOC Business (Vehicle Sales, Customer Services with parts and service contract business, Marketing, etc.)
· Knowledge in Finance-relevant SAP modules and legacy systems: SAP Module FI, ECCS and CO. OPEN
