Position Description: Kafka Architect Job Responsibilities Act as an expert and creative visionary for how the message platform will be utilized and evolve Participates in R&D activities to advance the development of the solution/platform roadmap P Position Description: Kafka Architect Job Responsibilities Act as an expert and creative visionary for how the message platform will be utilized and evolve Participates in R&D activities to advance the development of the solution/platform roadmap Provide estimates for design and implementation efforts of the solution in the echo system Lead development and infrastructure changes while ensuring overall solution-level integrity Oversee aspects of project life cycle from initial kickoff through requirements analysis design and implementation phases for projects within the solution area Negotiate scope and feature requirements with business stakeholders Lead the gathering of business objectives and architecting solutions to deliver on those objectives Perform GAP analysis to determine customization and project planning purposes Create appropriate documentation for referencing best practices and knowledge transfer Research and retrieve information needed to serve client needs Deliver a high level of commitment to client success and provide timely and quality services that meet or exceed expectations Works with business partners to provide guidance and support in the deployment of complex application solutions Act as a mentor/coach to other Implementation Consultants to ultimately develop their skills to a SSA leve l Contribute to the development of Statements of Work and ProposalsQualifications 10+ years of experience managing a full lifecycle implementation & leading a integration Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Relevant experience with the deployment and operationalization of enterprise grade message platform like Apache Kafka Google Pub/Sub Relevant experience in a hybrid cloud echo system Strong fundamentals in Kafka consumers and publisher configuration and troubleshooting Knowledge of Kafka Schemas and use of the Schema Registry Experience with Big Data solutions such as Cassandra Hadoop Spark ElasticSearch and Solr is a plus Working knowledge and experience of Bitbucket Git or Gitflow Continuous integration and automated testing Development of RESTful Services employing Spring and Spring Boot frameworks Building Cloud Native applications on Google Cloud platform with a focus and understanding of Google Cloud Data Products is desired Best practices to optimize the Kafka ecosystem based on use-case and workload Knowledge of Kafka clustering and its fault-tolerance model supporting High Availability Strong familiarity of wire formats such as XML JSON Avro Protobuf Thrift CSV etc. along with serialization/deserialization options Best practices to optimize the Kafka ecosystem based on use-case and workload Demonstrated ability to influence actions and gain the support of others to meet objectives Excellent analytical skills data management and reporting capability Skills: PresentationSkills/PublicSpeak Thought Leadership What you can expect from us: Insights you can act on While technology is at the heart of our clients' digital transformation, we understand that people are at the heart of business success.
