Job Description
Job Overview
The VDC engineer will assist in modeling, rendering, constructability, and other coordination efforts for the VDC department. The VDC Engineer will support projects inactive and preconstruction status.
Roles and Responsibilities
Modeling, overlays, renderings, animations, and other drafting (as needed)
Coordination, including constructability reviews and clash detections
Data export, including quantity takeoffs and coordination exhibit generation
Clash report issuance and participation during coordination meetings
Required Experience
3+ years of Revit and Navisworks experience
1+ years of AutoCAD experience
3+ years working in Architecture/Engineering or Construction related field
A Successful Candidate Must Have
Ability to read construction plans and translate them to 3D modeling
Basic understanding of commercial building systems, including structural, architectural, and MEP-LV
Proficient With
MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Microsoft Teams
