JUNIOR SOUS CHEF - PASTRY
 
Qualification:
Graduate of Culinary Arts/ HRM
At least 3 years experience or more working as a Pastry Chef
Knowledgeable in Continental cuisine
Knows to prepare Traditional, Modern Pastries & Bakeries
Have the ability to create exciting fine dining
Computer literate and knowledgeable in navigating Microsoft Tools (Word, Excel and etc.)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operating & managing the pastry section and work together with the Executive Chef to ensure a successful working environment
Creating pastries, bakeries and confections by following a set recipes
Developing new recipes for seasonal menus
Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure beautiful and tasteful presentation
Monitoring of stock of baking ingredients
Ordering supplies, ingredients and equipment for pastry section when needed and within the budget
Ensuring the pastry section adheres to safety and health regulations
Supervising and training staff members when needed
