Description
We are looking for a Shopify Developer to help build and maintain various Shopify e-commerce websites for our fast-growing roster of Shopify clients.
INDIVIDUAL QUALITIES
-Graduate of any IT related courses
-Ability to work in an Agile and collaborative environment
-Ability to work under pressure, in a team environment, with minimal guidance
-Knowledgeable with Java Script, HTML and CSS
-A thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
-An ability to multi-task on multiple projects and tasks at the same time
-A positive and upbeat attitude with the ability to learn quickly
-Effective communication skills and attention to detail
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
-At least 1 year of working experience in the related field
-Experience in transforming PSDs into templates
-Understanding of web design standards and responsive mobile development
-Knowledgeable with Liquid (Shopify templating language)
-Knowledge of REST API's
-Experience with jQuery
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Develop and maintain websites on Shopify, including building, refreshing, and updating content, and creating new page layouts and templates.
-Manage the day-to-day website operations by editing and adding content and products
-Continuously finds, follow, recommend, and implement Shopify best practices that improve site performance, engagement, and conversion.
-Assist the back-end developers with implementing new Shopify features as they come out
-Other duties as requested and/or determined
