Description
PURPOSE
Responsible for the design and execution of tests, finding and reporting bugs and glitches. Ensure that our system operates as intended with the best possible user experience.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Review and analyze functional/system requirements
-Exercise critical thinking in developing strategic test scenarios
-Formulate test cases
-Perform various tests, like regression and component tests, whether manual or automated
-Find, report, and track bugs until resolution, and recommend system improvements if needed.
-Report defects clearly and accurately
-Recommend system improvements, if needed
-Perform in-depth verification when bugs are resolved
-Engage in all scrum-related activities and other meetings
QUALIFICATIONS
-Minimum of 1-2 years of test working experience
-Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies and DevOps tool stacks (e.g.: AzureDevOps, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
-Experience in Software Quality Assurance
-Very good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
-Experience in writing comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases
-Knowledge of black box and white box testing practices.
-Good knowledge of the different testing techniques i.e. UI
-Willing to do both automation and manual testing initiatives
-Passionate about quality.
-Ability to enjoy the challenges of the job and see them as opportunities to learn
