The Project Engineer is responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of the project. Plan, schedule, predict, manage, control and monitor all the technical tasks of
the project to assure accuracy, proper resources, and quality from start to finish.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Monitor all engineers, architects, and staff in the implementation, of the execution and timely delivery of the project within quality and within cost.
2. Responsible for the over-all project management of the project to avoid construction delays by maintaining the project on schedule.
3. Responsible for the over-all Quality Control Management of the project to conform to standard, plans and specification to avoid recurring of defects and non-conformances.
4. Coordination with the PM and with other stakeholders and Customer Service counterparts with regards to quality concerns, turn-over/acceptance processes and other construction-related customer concerns.
5. Monitor Project's construction activities in coordination CLI Project Management.
6. Review and approve submission of Weekly, Monthly Reports including periodic Percentage of Completion (POC) Certification.
7. Attend emergency meetings as required with concerned members of the Project Team and Contractors / Suppliers.
8. Attend Management Committee and Project Managers' Meetings.
9. Facilitate all Permits during Construction, if required.
10. Review the Plans, Design and Specifications up to For Construction Drawings (FCD) prior to and during construction.
Job Qualifications
• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineer
• Must be a registered Civil Engineer
• At least 3 years of related work experience in construction
• Knowledge in facilities maintenance including buildings, structures, equipment and component maintenance
