Job Purpose
Junior programmer provides support to design, development, implementation and maintenance of the applications developed for the Operations Division. Basic duties include the following - Analysis and Design, Writing Code, Debugging, Documentation, Training the end user and Maintenance and Application upgrade
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyzing the needs of Operations before beginning the software project. After meeting all requirements, developing the software begins. Junior programmer assists in the analysis and design phase of the project.
- Carry out the debugging and troubleshooting of the program. The Junior Programmer will record the results and identify the possible problems in the application
- Provide the basic user manual to be used by the end users. Junior Programmer also offer functional specifications to OIE who will create the manual. OIE or Operations Industrial Engineers are the ones who will create the complete documentation of the entire application
- Conduct teaching for the users once the application is built and created
- Works with OIE and Project Coordinator in improving the monitoring and reporting of the whole team
- Assist the OEMU Manager in attending 3rd party suppliers of software and hardware
- Updates the schedule based on inputs received from project team
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related courses
- With at least 1 year of related experience
- With Technical Knowledge on Database - MySQL, Backend - PHP & JavaScript and Frontend- HTML and CSS
