Role Type Permanent What you'll be doing: A key position which manages the R&D introduction of new products through application of the New Product Development process. Key responsibilities: 1. A key position which manages theR&D introduction of new products through application of the New Product Development process. 2. Collaborates with Global & NPI, Marketing and operating functions in driving efficiencies in product design and make ready for new and improved products on time at the agreed quality and cost. 3. Responsible for resolving packaging component related issues and challenges. 4. Develop and maintain accurate product turnover including COS, Specification, Approved Samples. 5. Foster and maintain good relationships with component suppliers to ensure on time component availability with agreed quality and cost. Collaborate with internal operating function in supporting suppliers to improve their technical capabilities, quality and cost and deliver associated benefits to Avon. 6. Support Global and Site NPE&D Leads on continuous improvement and cost savings projects. 7. Support Avon goal in providing quality and safe products and services through flawless execution of developments 8. Support Avon goal in protecting environment through development of environment-friendly components, pollution prevention, waste and energy reduction and resource conservation 9. Support Avon goal for a safe and healthy workplace environment/culture that would prevent occupational injury and illness We'd love you to have: Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering courses Has at least 2 years of solid experience working on package/product development Knowledge and application of plastic molding technologies Ability to create and analyze technical reports Good communication skills and can collaborate with Matrix Team Knowledge on Packaging, Planning, Sourcing or Manufacturing processes Knowledge on Project Management Has worked in an international team environment What we offer: At Avon, we believe beauty is for everyone and that it's beautiful to be you.
