The BIGGEST distributor of FOTON VEHICLES is in need of
Junior Mechanic
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Performs periodic maintenance and machine inspection of Heavy Duty Trucks and Heavy Equipments.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conducts the following maintenance of the heavy machineries such as dump trucks, tractor heads, mixers, graders, excavators, loaders and other heavy construction equipments:
- Engine maintenance
o Change oil
o Change engine filters
o Adjust drive belts
- Transmission (Trucks)
o Change oil
o Clutch adjustment
o Propeller shaft repair and replace
- Differential (Trucks)
o Change oil
o Bolt re-tightening on propeller and couplings
- Cabin and Chassis Accessories (Trucks)
o Full parts repair and replace
2. Diagnoses and troubleshoots malfunctions in every equipments thru visual inspections
3. Tests repaired equipments to ensure proper performance when used.
4. Performs proper maintenance of the equipments.
5. Facilitates service accomplishment report during release of equipments.
6. Recommends parts and repair after visual inspections.
7. Performs other tasks assigned by the Immediate Head or VP for Heavy Business from time to time.
EDUCATION
Graduate of Automotive Technology or Automotive Servicing from technical Institutions
EXPERIENCE
1-2 years of experience in an automotive industry
COMPETENCIES
KNOWLEDGE
Heavy Duty Trucks and Heavy Equipments maintenance, under-chassis service.
SKILLS
Mechanical and electrical servicing
Troubleshooting, Servicing and Maintenance Procedure
ABILITIES
Ability to perform machine inspection and periodic maintenance.
Ability to work harmoniously with other Mechanics and Employees
Requirements
Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
Years of experience: 1
Language(s): English
