Junior Finance Analyst Role
Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is mentioned in virtually any financial analyst job description; familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects)
Basic Qualifications
Preferably with a degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. Being a CPA is an advantage.
Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply but having 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance in a retail or consumer goods company is an advantage.
Proficient in MS Excel or willing to learn basic to advanced functions.
Strong English and communication skills as he/she will be communicating findings and recommendations an international team based mostly in the US and the Philippines
Key Responsibilities * Generate and Submit Weekly, Monthly and Annual Reports for the total company. These reports are related to the following but not limited to:
Sales Performance and Analysis
Inventory and Supply Chain
Company Profitability
On-Going Projects
Work closely with other departments such as Sales, Procurement and Logistics to understand and make recommendations that will help company drive profitability and lower costs
