Job Description: Do you have a passion for getting things right Can't stand it when a web page doesn't work If so, then you'll love working with us in a challenging position as a Web Software Developer who will work with the Web Development team within the Corporate Marketing Department. In this role, you will work in middle-tier and at database level to write code and business logic for the web applications. This individual must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in fast paced team environment that is helping to shape and deliver Microchip's suite of web applications. Key Responsibilities Experience (0-2 years) with Java/Spring Boot/Servlet/Microservices/REST API design. Translate ideas into actions. Experience with Object oriented programming and JAVA (methods, servlet, utils), Apache, Sling, etc. Experience in Java, JEE, Maven, Apache sling framework, OSGI, Node, REST based services. Write reusable, testable, and efficient code. Design and implement high-availability, and performant applications. Experience with writing unit test cases in JAVA. Good understating of the REST API design and server-oriented architecture. Understanding of the API integration patters and API gateways. Understanding of the MVC (Multilayer architecture) style application architecture. Good to have Knowledge of SQL DB. Maintain code quality by leading code reviews and ensuring appropriate unit test coverage is in place Help construct and maintain standards for web development processes and practices. Requirements/Qualifications: A bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience API testing applications like postman. JIRA or Azure DevOps Adobe Experience Manager Azure DevOps, Postman, CI/CD pipeline. Understanding of the HTL. Knowledge of Agile and scrum practice in terms of project management Version control Teamwork and Culture The candidate must be culturally compatible with Microchip's values and must be able to work with a good work ethic in a collaborative environment.
