Role Purpose
To control and approve the contractor's construction methodologies in design phases and execution stages in order to meet quality, safety standards and delivery dates within Trojena specific mountain and high-altitude environment .
Key Accountabilities & Activities
Project scope of work Development
Assist, support, and monitor the implementation of the construction methodology strategy on site.
Ensure that the PMC is checking properly and isn't missing any tasks or construction phases.
Review all Civil, steel structures, facades, and temporary work method statements submitted by all contractors and their subcontractors for each cluster.
Review of the proposed phasing and planning.
Analyze all lifting plans. Check with PMC or methods team crane specialist the crane's data.
Shoring shop drawings for beams and slabs.
Check the approved loading plans of each slab versus the back propping drawings.
Wall formwork and columns shop drawing.
Faade scaffolding shop drawings interface with other trades.
Control with HSE team all risk assessments for standard tasks.
Coordination with clusters construction project team the implementation on site of the approved methods statement.
Ensure that contractors site installations are properly and safely designed to accommodate logistics traffics, lay down areas, people path, equipment temporary roads, offices, welfares, warehouse in coordination with logistics team.
People Management
Help the Sr methods engineer, or manager organize the In and out communication with PMC contractors related to any technical reply to RFI and Technical observations from the methods team.
Manage the communication digital database with the document control through Aconex or Excel build the monthly report of the dept.
Job Description
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
5 to 7 years operational experience on construction projects in a methods or Logistics dept within a contractor or PMC organization.
Civil or Industrial Engineering knowledge -Site organization logistics parks and tasks.
Primary knowledge of material and equipment used in construction from different suppliers such as formworks, scaffolding, shoring, bracing, tower crane, crawler cranes and mobile cranes.
Knows how to read and understand civil or industrial drawings with AutoCAD 2D-3D.
Project planning knowledge: Primavera P6 or Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of mechanical design calculation basics.
Self-motivated, willing to learn and investigate, reliable, and hardworking.
A creative and agile approach to workplace challenges.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil -Mechanical or industrial Engineering or Architect with proven construction site experience.
