junior Automation EngineerMARSHAL ELECTRICAL AND METAL PRODUCTS CO LTD

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes, but is not limited to:
- Responsible for the design and development of projects related to different industrial processes, which involve Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), servo drives, industrial instrumentation, power meters, and other related technologies.
- Determines automation test criteria before final installation
- Performs pre-commissioning and commissioning works and keeps
track of proper testing and commissioning documentation
- Collaborates in in-house multi-disciplinary projects
- Provides technical assistance to sales engineers and customers regarding material specifications for automation/control and electrical needs and addresses other technical inquiries.
- Develops training and troubleshooting resources (e.g., procedures, diagnostics, and documentation) as required
- Does site works from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering field
- Ability to interpret and troubleshoot electrical control, protection, instrumentation and metering schematics and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with various automation components such as PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and actuators.
- Familiarity with the design, configuration, and utilization of serial communication networks (e.g. RS-485), Ethernet networks, and others
- Experience in Six-axis cobot, Python and OpenCV would be beneficial
- Willing to do other tasks as might be needed from time to time
- Willing to be assigned at project sites inside or outside Metro Manila
- Ability to work in a team or alone
- Can start immediately
