Strong knowledge of New Zealand Tax laws
Process Xero data
Knowledge of Hubdoc and any other app that integrates with Xero is a bonus
Complete GST, PAYE, FBT returns
Prepare New Zealand Income Tax Returns
Prepare Accounting Workpapers
Prepare Financial Statements for all types of entities
Assist partner with any other accounting-related matters
Ensure all documentation, including work papers and client files, are maintained in line
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, finance, or related field (CPA a plus)
At least 3 years of Accounting experience in Chartered Accounting firm
Must be Xero Certified
Thorough understanding of New Zealand and/or taxation legislation, including but not limited to GST, FBT, Companies Act
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Great communication skills
