Job Description
The position is primarily responsible for maintaining and updating accounting records in accordance with Accounting policies and processes; contributing to ADBEMC budget preparation; and overseeing the generation of financial reports and special reports, as required. The position is also responsible in certifying the correctness of loan and other payments, disbursements, availability of funds. The incumbent will directly report to the Accounting Supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
• With knowledge of accounting software and experience in integrated accounting system migration and management.
• Must have at least 3 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• With advanced working knowledge of applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
• Experience in working in a cooperative for at least one (1) year is preferred; and
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and client orientation.
Personal Qualities and Competencies
• Flexible, creative, responsive and able to follow through on tasks
• Analytical, systematic, with strong numerical ability and attention
• Willing to demonstrate, apply, and share expert technical knowledge across the cooperative
• Able to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines
