Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and supporting documentation
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
Assist with BAS, GST, and other ATO reporting requirements
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Communicate regularly with the Australian finance team for updates, clarifications, and reviews
Support audit preparation and respond to basic audit requests
Handle other ad hoc accounting tasks as directed by the client or senior accountant
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field
Familiarity with Australian accounting standards and tax rules is a plus
Knowledge of basic accounting processes
Strong MS Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
