About the role:
This role is to develop new processes to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of assigned stations. This includes the qualification and release of new equipment platforms or new process technologies.
What you will do:
Providing health and safety awareness at all levels within the company.
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and statutes.
Developing risk mitigation strategies.
Investigating all injuries and accidents.
Deciding on where to locate fire extinguishers.
Deciding on where and emergency exit should be.
Making sure that emergency exits are clear from obstacles.
Making sure that all staff know the location or where the first aid kits are.
Rendering first aid to employees and visitors in case of injury and illness.
Arranging for the removal of hazardous waste and materials.
Carrying out safety inspections and observations.
Making sure that personal protective equipments such as hearing protection, safety glasses footwear and safety helmets are being worn in the workplace.
Carrying out safety audits.
Conducting fire drills.
Conducting bloodletting.
Conducting EHS orientations.
Maintaining accurate administrative records of any emergency drills carried out.
Participating in fire prevention programs.
Participating in accident prevention programs.
Maintaining statistical records of all reported incidents and accidents.
Identifying potential safety or fire hazards.
Identifying potential safety or chemical hazards.
Responding to employees' safety concerns.
Putting appropriate safety controls in place.
What you will need:
BS Engineering Graduate.
Must be a certified Safety Officer.
With experience in budgeting and energy management.
Experience in Team Based Operation.
A team player in heart and mind.
Basic understanding in 5S.
Basic understanding in FMEA and 8D.
Basic understanding in Autocad.
Knowledge at first methods and techniques.
Ability to work on initiatives.
