Job Summary:
Provides direct supervision to the laboratory and sample preparation during night shift and performs laboratory tests to determine chemical composition of materials for such purpose as grade analysis and quality control in an on-site assay laboratory.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyzes all nickel ore samples including shipment using XRF on a daily basis;
Organize and delegates work to direct subordinates:
Receives, examines and records through log-in process inbound items for testing:
Prepares samples and standards needed for testing process;
Performs testing of samples and qualify control specimens using specified methods:
Troubleshoots minor problems:
Recognizes and resolves discrepancies in results:
Maintains documentation, equipment and work areas in a neat and orderly condition;
Performs other related functions as necessary;
Responsible in the safety of his team and working place:
Supporting, motivating and training of subordinates.
Minimum Educational Requirement:
Graduate of BS Chemistry BS Chem ENGG
Skills / Training Needed :
Computer Literate
Must be fluent in english filipino
