VP Asia Pacific Inc. has an opportunity for a Junior Accountant to join our client who is based in Australia. They provide tailored and proactive Cryptocurrency Taxation advice to their clients, whether you are an investor or trader anywhere throughout Australia.
As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for:
• Assist the accounting team with day to day tasks.
• Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, supplier's ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
• Bring the books to the trial balance stage.
• Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.
• Create and update expense reports.
• Process reimbursement forms.
• Enter financial transactions into the internal database.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality.
• Other administrative tasks that may be assigned.
To be successful, you should be:
• A degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or any related filed.
• At least 1-year work experience in Australian taxation.
• Solid experience with General Accounting and Bookkeeping.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
