Job Description
Assists in monitoring and supervising the activities of the PNG Nationals nurses and PNG
Recommend to company physician budget needs as related to medical service.
Transport ill and injured employees to hospital and manages patient in the absence of the company physician
Plans, organizes and develops an efficient occupational health nursing service, consistent with the objectives and scope of the company medical program
Recommend to company physician
Assists in monitoring and supervising the activities of the PNG Nationals nurses and PNG (add)
Develops and maintains a record and reporting system, which meets legal requirements, ensures continuity of care and confidentiality.
Evaluates health programs, nursing procedures, responsibilities and recommends methods that will increase effectiveness
Develops and maintains communication system witphysician regarding proposals to change or introduce new process and substances, so that potential health risks can be controlled in the planning stages.
Provide emergency and palliative care and treatment to all employees within the legal scopeof nursing responsibility in the absence of the company physician. This includes first aid, checking of vital signs.

Conduct monthly inventory and requisition of clinic supplies and monthly medical reports.
Ensures preparation and submission of reports as needed by the company physician.
Conducts periodic plant rounds to prevent health hazard and create health awareness among employees.
Involves actively in the dissemination of health information on various health drives through lectures, seminars, health bulletin and handouts
Facilitates and sustains the strengthening of first aid teams.
Ensures preparation and submission of reports as needed or required by the Company Physician
In coordination with the Company Physician, conduct networking and linkage efforts to agencies on health programs and services of the company.
Shall work in accordance with the established health & safety program of the department and of the company such as wearing of the prescribed PPE, obey and respect warnings & signage's and other relevant safety measures. (ADD)
Shall proactively report unsafe conditions and practices to the immediate superior by making suggestions or removal of accident hazards
Shall actively participate in the health and safety programs of the company.(add)
Performs other health related works that the Company Physician may assign from time to time(remove) Performs other related jobs assigned by the superior.(add)
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Nursing or similar fields.
Fluent in English language and must be proactive, organize and responsible
