Duties and Responsibilities
Design and implement essential applications and scalable, lasting technology solutions
Review current systems, suggesting updates as needed, including Systems that run using other languages (Python / Javascript )
Gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders
Test and debug new applications and updates
Identify potential challenges and bottlenecks in order to address them proactively
Resolve reported issues and reply to queries in a timely manner
Develop and utilize technical change documentation
Remain up-to-date on all current best practices, trends, and industry developments
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
2+ years of experience in the IT field
Solid working knowledge of Java technologies
Solid working knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
Basic knowledge of Python and Javascript
Significant experience working with SQL databases usage and management
Familiarity with CI/CD systems is a plus (jenkins, docker, github, maven)
Experience with Unit Testing
Experience with Testing and deployment, with an attention to detail that supports the software development cycle
Excellent Communication and organizational skills, with a drive to hit targets and solve problems along the way
Capable of working as part of a software development and IT team, and with little to no supervision as required
