BORN Group is looking for the Java Architect to join the award winning team. The successful
candidate will work with the e-commerce team and will be responsible for the design of the solution
through the lifecycle of a project. As an Architect you will play a key role in driving forward technical
innovation to keep BORN Group ahead.
Key Responsibilities
FSLC (Full Systems Life Cycle) programming in Java of scalable, maintainable, and well
documented E-commerce solutions based on Hybris software.
• providing architecture design recommendations on technology strategy, developing
high level technical architecture and establishing standards and guidelines for design
• Unit testing of code - Working with very large and complex SQL databases
• Troubleshooting through resolution of technical issues and system errors
• Performing testing, documentation, and mentoring/grooming/coaching less technical staff
where applicable
• Delivering project work to defined timescales and deadlines - Proactively reporting on project
progress and issues
• Designing and leading B2B, B2C, multi-site and multi-country, end-to-end implementations of
ecommerce platforms
• Demonstrated experience with application performance optimization and driving performance
efficiency across disparate technologies.
• Test driven development & Automated Unit Testing experience
• Continuous Integration experience
