Position target:
Manage, create, and help with IT and Physical Security Designs for new buildings.
Gathering and consolidating project data. Keeping information organized and updated.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Design IT Structural Cabling / IT Rooms for new sites as per standard operation procedure.
Design Physical Security systems for new sites as per standard operation procedure.
Gathering data from project team and transfer it to combined IT design
Working with Network Team responsible for WLAN and LAN designs
Support senior team members
Create and update documentation, actively build teams knowledge base.
Support internal documentation of work, processes, and procedures
Development of own skills within a selected field of IT
Education and skills:
Minimal requirements
Good understanding of network technologies
Understanding of IT cabling and IT connected devices
Knowledge of building systems LAN, WLAN, Security Cameras and other security devices
Very good command of English (DSV corporate language)
Very good communication skills.
MS Office knowledge
MS Visio or AutoCAD knowledge
Relevant IT related education or courses
Work experience in building installations
Analytical approach and good problem-solving.
Readiness for challenges and skills development.
Minimal work experience:
Minimal requirements
2-3 years experience managing structural / IT projects
Knowledge of the transport and/or production industry
Experience with IT and Physical Security and the ability to manage them technically
Experience of working in a large organization.
