What you'll do
 
We are seeking an experienced ITSM Platform Automation Lead who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions for our IT Service Management platform. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of programming languages such as Bash, Powershell, JavaScript. They will also be responsible for understanding and documenting these workflows/processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills, have experience working with APIs, and be able to lead a team.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement automation solutions for our ITSM platform using programming languages such as Bash, Powershell and JavaScript.
Document and understand business processes and workflows to create efficient automation solutions.
Break down complex workflows into smaller parts to simplify processes
Work with APIs to integrate with other systems and automate processes
Lead a team to ensure successful implementation of automation solutions
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize automation opportunities
Continuously improve and optimize automation solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness guidance to team members and stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience in ITSM automation or related field
Strong programming skills in Bash, Powershell and JavaScript
Excellent problem-solving and logical thinking skills
Ability to document and understand business processes
Experience working with APIs and integrating with other systems
Experience leading a team and managing projects
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
PREFERRED
ITIL certification or related certifications
Experience with DevOps practices and tools
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA
Bonus: Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
