Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and implement new software programs.
2. Maintain and improve the performance of existing software.
3. Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues.
4. Design and update software database.
5. Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
6. Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary.
7. Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct.
8. Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software as a systems programmer.
9. Consult with and assist computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer programs.
10. Correct errors by making appropriate changes and then rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Requirements / Skills
Graduates of Computer Programming or related courses
With at least two (2) years of experience in PHP programming or in any related field
Knowledgeable and proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, WordPress, Joomla, MySQL and MSSQL
Excellent computing, logical, and programming skills
Proficient in Dreamweaver,Xcode, Flash, and Adobe Photoshop, an advantage
Strong knowledge in SEO
Knowledge of Ajax technology, a plus
Relational database experience
Excellent understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform issues
High global standards for web designing
Good knowledge in MySQL Database and other related databases, functions, optimization, and normalization
Knowledge and understanding with Object-Oriented Programming and Methodologies
Other related tasks as assigned by the immediate superior and/or the management
Requirements * Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
