Job IT Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients.
Reviews work of the development team.
Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
Providing direction for IT team members
Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement
Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes.
Coordinate with development teams to identify needs and work with network engineers, system administrators, database administrators to design application server environments.
Respond to requests received by the help desk in a timely manner.
Provide regular project status and estimates to the management.
Endeavor to make technology and systems available around the clock, and establish disaster recovery or contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
Plan the lifespans of all the companies' technologies, including anticipated upgrades and replacements.
Manage a company's help desk operations and provide beneficial technology solutions.
Communicate with other departments in the company about business needs.
Recommend purchases of technology that will increase business efficiency, save money and facilitate corporate expansion.
JOB QUALIFICATION
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Information Technology field
Minimum of 5 years' experience in management
Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
Exceptional communication and reporting skills
Solid working knowledge in all required software and programming languages
Outstanding leadership skills and ability to delegate responsibilities effectively
