IT ManagerOakridge Realty Development Corporation

The IT Manager owns the technology services portfolio (e.g. IT services, communication, and intelligent systems) in support of the Shared Services operations and development initiatives. He/she will report to the Director for Finance and Corporate Shared Services.  The following are his/her primary responsibilities:
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
·      Primarily responsible for the buildup, and integration various systems and technologies of the business park.
·      Ensure that the Shared Services network and systems infrastructure are managed efficiently in line with the business goals.  These infrastructures include wired, copper, fiber-optic and wireless networks, servers, data back up and storage, workstations including security facilities.
·      Work with the technical teams, contractors, and/or service providers in order to anticipate and prepare for capacity peaks and potential gaps in technology capabilities.
·      Responsible for overseeing the efficient operations of back-end IT infrastructure including monitoring systems.
·      Prepare relevant reports for management.
 
Education and Professional Experience:
1.     College degree in information technology, engineering or management with technical specialization/training on IT Infrastructure Support Services.
2.     At least five (5) years relevant experience in IT Infrastructure Services (please see Qualifications for details).
 
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
·      Management experience in handling technical specialists as direct reports or project teams.
·      Excellent problem solving skills.
·      Above average communications skills.
·      Experience in Directory and Authentication Services Administration either Microsoft Active Directory or equivalent implementations.
·      Wired and Wireless Local Area Network (LAN/WLAN) Administration and management.
·      Experience in management of Real and Virtual Servers Infrastructure (e.g. Active Directory on VMWare, Hypervisor)
 
Preferably with exposure in the following:
·      Deployment and management of Firewalls and IT Security Infrastructure, IP Telephony/PABX or similar infrastructure
