Description
Roles and Responsibilities
-Provide supervision, guidance and mentorship to the Team Leaders of the IT Operations Team and their direct reports
-Be the lead in the incident management process for the IT Team and the communicator between IT and the business
-Provide guidance and direction during incidents
-Ensure Incident Reports are completed and reviewed after an incident is reported and provide recommendations to management about future improvements to prevent such issues
-Establish continuous process improvement cycles where process performance is reviewed and enhance as necessary, driving efficiency and effectiveness of the incident resolution process
-Lead the development and management of critical business systems in co-ordination with the Technical Lead
-Assist with system support issues, queries and faults
-Maintain adequate service levels for end users
-Ensure all request are lodged onto the system, implement corrective action and follow up escalated issues to ensure successful resolution
-Provide support for troubleshooting general hardware and software issues (as required)
-Provide high level systems advise to management
-Ensure delivery of quality processes for system users
Required Experience
- Understanding of systems and process analysis, particularly for identifying problem areas and improvement opportunities.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders to drive outcomes to meet business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Technical qualifications/certifications and/or practical experience in build, operate and support IT system infrastructure.
