IT INFRASTRUCTURE ANALYST
Job Summary
Responsible for the daily operations of the Information Technology infrastructure needs. The position is a Tier 2 level of I.T. support services in charge of diagnosing and solving complex problems related to network communication errors, storage problems, malfunctioning server platforms, and other related areas. The I.T. Infrastructure Analyst can have direct contact and interaction with customers, suppliers, and other solution provider partners, in accordance to the standard Service Management practices required by the business and tools for incidents/problems, changes, assets, and configurations management of the information systems. Also responsible in ensuring that I.T. Infrastructure services will have continuous service improvements.
The incumbent must be able to work within a global I.T. Matrix organization. The I.T. Infrastructure Analyst will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues within an organizational service level agreement timeline. The I.T. Infrastructure Analyst together with the Business Analyst, will ensure 100% Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Job Specifications
Bachelor's degree of Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and other related courses
Mostly preferred with certifications in one or more of the following areas: CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, CISSP, ITIL v3, MCSE, and other related certificates to I.T. infrastructure
With a minimum of three (3) years' experience specifically on the following:
managing infrastructure security including perimeter defense
managing multiple domains, active directory and group policies, LAN, WAN, and VLAN
managing & supporting Telephony systems e.g. VOIP systems, analog systems
I.T. Service Management experience using I.T. standards processes such as ITIL v3 Foundation 2011 practices and with systems/network experience
Maintaining ITSM Service Catalogs and database configuration
Implementing and administering servers, network, storage, telephony system, ERP, and other related areas (e.g. firewalls, routers, switches, VPN, etc.)
Microsoft Products administration
Troubleshooting technical software and hardware issues in a timely manner
With knowledge & experience on the following:
supporting desktop, laptop/notebook unit, and Apple equipment products
backup and disaster recovery procedures for Servers and Workstations.
ERP systems and supply chain processes
Effective verbal and written communication skills
A proactive thinker with the ability to anticipate problems, troubleshoot and proactively resolve them.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
