Job Description
An IT Health/Insurance Domain Expert, acts as the subject mater in IT Health and Insurance business across delivery initiatives and to help the company implement strategic transformation of various IT health related projects.
Platform Strategy & Vision
Creates the platform vision and roadmap to support the business strategies of AXA PH and Transformation and Technology (T&T)
Works with senior leadership within T&T and business, AXA Group Operations and other AXA entities to identify, scope and structure key strategy initiatives to drive growth and profitability.
Identifies opportunities to enhance assets that deliver operational efficiencies to the business and leads its implementation
Understands issues facing the business that would affect digital assets/ core systems and peripherals and develop strategic solutions for implementation
Project Management
Reviews project plans, business cases and budgets for approval (developed by project managers) by relevant sponsor/ committees to ensure that they are accurate (based on available information), optimized and implementable.
Ensures project interdependencies and execution risk are minimized, and drives for effective & efficient implementation.
Monitors projects and implements measures to ensure improvements to project quality, risk, communication and change management plans.
Outlines roles and responsibilities for project team members to ensure clarity of responsibilities and execution of project within agreed budget and timeline.
Work and assist the project teams to ensure the software product and service will meet its quality goals at the best value and based on the customer expectation
Work and assist the Quality Assurance team to ensure the quality management processes are being followed in conducting the validation and verification of the product and service
Delivery, Execution and Implementation
Acts as the lead subject matter expert for IT Health business initiatives
Leads design meetings to ensure all requirements and issues are covered and are considered in solutions development/issue resolution.
Coordinates with respective digital product owners on related digital asset deliverables
Identifies and secures appropriate support from various T&T teams to ensure project activities are executed on time and deliverables are of appropriate quality
Manages and ensures that each initiative objectives are met within the agreed scope, budget, schedule and expected quality.
Prioritizes stories and requirements from business stakeholders based on incremental business value and customer/distributor value
People Management
Manages assigned team/s and their respective deliverables
Provides coaching and guidance to team members (e.g., project managers, business analysts)
Prepares Individual Performance Assessment (project based) for team members ensuring the inclusion of feedback on performance, development needs and training requirements
Collaboration with the team and training
Actively participate in the status meeting to communicate progress and escalated risks and roadblocks
Attend scrum ceremonies
Participate in brownbag sessions
Manage and regularly conduct Release Meeting with the project team to decide on the approval of planned releases
Prepare training materials and provide the assistance in conducting the training to users or other members of the team
Progress Monitoring and Training
Prepare and monitor progress of the of the project activities and follow-up and escalate issues and concerns to all concerned parties
Information Security
Responsible for complying the information security with the organization by protecting sensitive and confidential information from unauthorized access and taking appropriate measure to manage security risks, threats and vulnerabilities
Others
Perform other duties as assigned, if necessary
Your Profile
10+ years experience in managing and delivering small to medium scale projects on any of Health and Insurance platforms
Knowledge and experience in Life, General Insurance, digital is an advantage
Experience in leading and managing agile teams in medium programs 10 FTE team size
Experience in leading and managing teams to successfully transition an application from development to production (SDLC/Agile)
