As an IT / DevOps, your responsibilities will include the ff:
Perform daily backups and secure it.
Maintain interconnectivity of servers and company systems.
Serves as technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems.
Helps develop, document, communicate, and enforce a network technology policy.
Plans ahead for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growth.
Manages user account and assets, and assigns and updates security permissions on the network according to security policy.
Provides support with escalated help desk requests.
High understanding on system implementation and maintenance.
Mentors team members and educate users.
Update ticket status and escalate to next level if issue persist.
Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed
Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups
Qualifications for the role:
Graduate of BS in Computer Engineering, BS in Computer Science or any related course.
3 – 5 years extensive work experience as Information Technology.
Experience in application design and integration, and cloud computing and cloud migration.
Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems
Creating volumes, assigning to servers and remote replication
Resident within Cebu City or Cebu Province.
Team worker and has high problem-solving skills, resourcefulness.
Strong organizational skills and initiative.
High understanding with terminal codes and scripts.
Nice to have:
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
Microsft Azure or AWS Cloud Computing Training Certification
Linux Professional certifications
