OMEGA HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT SERVICES INC.
 
This position will be responsible for maintaining the current toolset defined for each workstation within the organization as well as deployment, issuing and management of Operating Systems, hardware and software to all enterprise workstations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
IT Support - Hardware, Software, Communications (50%)
Provide 1st level user support to Omega staff for all software and hardware related issues and keep the business informed on the status of outstanding issues
Liaise with Bangalore Support for issues related to technology requirements, support, problem resolution, upgrade and maintenance of system.
Ensure all problems are logged with appropriate levels of supporting documentation.
Provide technical support for all standalone systems.
Risk Management and compliance (30%)
Ensure the safety and security of all computer and telecommunications equipment in the Data Centre/ Communications room by diligent execution of daily physical checks
Adhere and comply with the overall Omega compliance process.
Ensure local processes are compliant to relevant group policies.
Reporting and Documentation (20%)
Communicate timely status reports to the IT Manager/DGM-IT as required.
Track all IT assets and inventory, both hardware and software assets
Ensure up to date systems documentation
SKILL SET:
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or Networks
Minimum 1 year of work experience in a technical support position
Analytical and problem solving skills
Good communication (both verbal and written) skills
Superior customer service and support skills
