Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gather customer requirements.
- Assists with the interpretation of customer requirements into feasible options and communicating
these back to stakeholders.
- Work with stakeholders, customers, and project team to prioritize collected requirements.
- Be the contact person of customers regarding issues or concerns with the project.
- Participates in the QA of purchased solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled
and optimized.
- Develops and utilizes standard templates to write requirements specifications, and or instruction
manuals accurately and concisely.
- Develops and conducts peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure those requirement
specifications are correctly interpreted.
- Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that
is comprehensible to the development team.
Qualifications:
- College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, finance, or
information systems
- Three to five years related work experience as a business analyst or in a related field
- Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including
planning, organizing, and managing resources
- Working knowledge of Windows office systems
- Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives
- Ability to work with stakeholders to assess project scope, needs, and vision
- Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated project management software skills
- Demonstrated experience in handling MS SQL and other Microsoft technologies
