ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Serve as key voice for PIM development
Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally, and as the primary contact for queries related to the product
Work closely with product management, web development & marketing teams to create a platform that fits the company portfolio and strategy
Solve product-related problems, make decisions, and complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards deliverable commitments
Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
Lead development and release management for PIM
Collaborate with stakeholders and developers during visioning and concept development of new PIM platform
Coordinate discovery meetings with stakeholders, technical leads and other product owners to clarify concepts and develop functional requirements
Manage and drive PIM development process and data integration, as well as maintain platform post launch to ensure optimal performance
Develop scope and define backlog items (capabilities/epics/user stories) that guide the development team
Prioritize epics and stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value
Lead PIM scrum team during planning checkpoints, release planning and readouts
Coordinate functional and data dependencies with other platform product owners
Administrate and drive regular stand-up, grooming, and retrospective meetings
Drive and report progress of development to management and stakeholders
Assist QA and test team in development of test cases and test data
Drive UAT test cases and defects to resolution, in coordination with development team
Represent PIM team for release cutover, go-live and sign-off
Participate in stabilization to monitor status of defects and to move unresolved issues to backlog
Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation
Fulfill key role in post-launch integration of PIM data with website working with GDC web dev and marketing teams
Create and deliver system documentation
Develop and maintain system documentation, including operational process flows and permission matrices
Deliver knowledge transfer (KT) of new functionalities, workflows, and enhancements for each release
Support playbook creation, user training, onboarding and operations
Drive continuous initiatives to improve PIM capabilities and efficiencies
Define and implement new business rules, workflows, and tools to improve system ease-of-use
Develop reporting capabilities to drive performance metrics
Manage user groups and permissions
Drive PIM implementation of new and acquired product lines and collaborate in website integration
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required; MBA highly preferred
5+ years' experience in the manufacturing and/or ecommerce industry
5+ years of Master Data Management - MDM or Product Information Management -PIM implementation and management experience
5+ years' experience in defining and implementing data quality and data governance standards, practices, org structures, support models, and achieving business objectives and results
Expertise and experience with PIM Systems (custom in-house or commercially developed)
Demonstrated experience working in a process improvement/process transformation role
Proven experience managing and coaching a team of product information experts and specialists
Experience with engaging and managing offshore stakeholders, partners and vendors.
