Information technology (IT) Auditors help organizations by protecting their internal controls and data within their technology system. IT audits include security reviews of project management, software development, data privacy, and security. Generally speaking, IT audits evaluate the risks associated with IT systems involving people, processes, and technology. Responsibilities: Perform IT risk assessments, IT audits, and regulatory compliance assessments in areas covering IT general controls, application controls, business cycle, and IT security review. Perform IT assurance engagements covering business and IT controls. Able to evaluate IT internal controls and identify opportunities for controls improvement. Qualifications: 5-10 years work experience in the field of IT audit. Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Accounting. Preferably with CISA certification. CPA or CIA certification is an added advantage. Good working knowledge of the COSO and IT Assurance Framework issued by ISACA. Experience in performing IT risk assessments and IT audits. Strong understanding of complex business and IT processes, and their related risks. Able to evaluate IT internal controls and identify opportunities for controls improvement.
