Job Description
 
We have recently started the planning phase of a major IT upgrade to transfer our business processes to a modern ERP system. The primary objective of this project is to support the expansion of our offering and geographic expansion, expected to result in considerable increase of revenues.
 
As IT and Business Process Engineer you will be a key member of our ERP and related business software implementation team. In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across multi-jurisdictions.
Develop an in-depth understanding of management requirements for an efficiently managed production environment, its supporting administration to support the revenue expansion by additional offering and geographic expansion.
Analyze existing business processes, workflows and systems.
Identify and recommend (re-)engineering and documentation of existing and new processes as preparation for transfer to software.
Collaborate with process owners, end users and stakeholders across business units in Cebu, Switzerland and UK.
Understand process owner's requirements, reflect appropriately in processes and software, while ensuring organizational objectives.
Collaborate with technical and consultant counterparts on business software supplier's side to ensure clear definition and understanding of processes, their alignment and implementation in software.
Plan and execute change management initiatives to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new and improved processes.
Lead testing phase for integration and user acceptance.
Lead data migration from old systems, tools and databases.
Lead user trainings and ensure readiness for go live.
Closely observe, troubleshoot and support go live phase.
Improve system where needed by additional reports, dashboards and continuous improvement efforts to ensure the system is used as intended and provides efficient support for all business processes, owners and end users.
Qualifications and experience
A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, operations management, or a related field.
Previous experience in business process engineering, process improvement, or related roles, ideally within a corporate environment or consulting firm.
Proficiency in process mapping techniques, tools, and methodologies, such as BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) or Six Sigma.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to identify root causes and develop innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts, facilitate workshops, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to manage projects and deliver results within defined timelines and budgets.
Knowledge of ERP systems, workflow automation tools, and other relevant technologies that support business process engineering and optimization.
A passion for continuous improvement, staying up-to-date with industry trends, and a willingness to explore new methodologies and techniques for process optimization.
