OBJECTIVES:
The Benefits Realization Analyst will support the IT Finance and User Services Divisions (ITFS) in benefits realization management for IT reforms and digital transformation programs. The Benefits Realization Analyst will work with the IT Department (ITD) and business stakeholders that play key roles in the implementation and governance of benefits realization. The Benefits Realization Analyst contributes to ITD’s progress towards achieving the unit’s strategic goals by implementing the benefits realization management process, strengthening business case development, coordinating benefits realization with other organizational processes such as project management and IT Governance, while maintaining the benefit reporting documents, tools, and repositories. 
Report to: IT Officer
The IT Analyst will assist the Benefits Realization unit by:
Mapping/tracing benefits to strategic objectives, outcomes, and outputs per digital product.
Gathering and analyzing data requirements to accurately quantify benefit measurement indicators.
Documenting and maintaining the benefit realization framework, benefit realization plan, benefit repository, benefits dashboard, and other benefit realization deliverables.
Recording of the Minutes of the Meeting per project-benefit discussion with the benefit owners.
Recording and analyzing variances between target and actual benefit realization targets, and produces reports of benefits, risks, and issues to inform management decisions. 
Handling planning, execution, and logistics for benefit discovery workshops, meetings, and other engagement activities/events.
Updating the benefit realization framework, processes, deliverables, templates, and maintain a shared repository for them.
Contributing to continuous improvement of the framework and the process by participating in post-implementation reviews, sharing and capturing lessons learned, documenting and reporting on corrective actions.
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
 QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience across several of the following fields: project management, project management office, business analysis, project delivery,
Strong technical knowledge of benefits realization framework, techniques, processes, measurements, and tools.
Experience in documenting and implementing management frameworks and tools.
Extensive knowledge of information and communication technology and how to derive Benefits Realization indicators from IT-initiated projects.
Experience of working in a project and service delivery environment, having had exposure to project and financial management processes and issues.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential for this position.
Experience working productively and maintaining effective relationships in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams is preferred.
Experience working in IFIs, MDBs, or non-profit institutions is preferred.
