A leading international financial investment company is urgently recruiting for an Investor Relations Manager job. This people-manager role requires a candidate with strong a background and experience in hedge funds or private equity, investor relations and transfer agency.
About the Investor Relations Manager Role:
As a core member of the investor relations team, you will be working with some of the industry's most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that clients can depend upon.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform overall leadership and coaching of staff including managers, supervisors and their direct reports
Oversee the daily operations of the teams and provide support and guidance in accomplishing department goals
Create and maintain acceptable service levels for key areas of responsibility
Create an environment of co-operation and initiative through appropriate delegation, empowerment, training and motivation
Anticipate and resolve work concerns and exercise sound judgement to make appropriate adjustments
Contribute to the roll out and success of the Global processing initiative, working closely with colleagues in multiple locations globally
Assess areas of risk on each team and within the department and implement processes to address areas of concern
Identify opportunities to enhance technology and automate procedures to limit or eliminate manual processes
Assist in the developing a global forum dedicated to sharing best practices and improving processing standards
To succeed in this Investor Relations Manager role, you must have strong hedge funds or private equity, investor relations and transfer agency experience from an investment, asset and wealth management company.
Key Requirements:
Degree holder in accounting/finance/economics
Three to five years' experience in financial services, preferably related to investor relations and/or client services
One to three years' experience managing staff
Knowledge of hedge funds and/or fund of funds
Knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues and anti-money laundering policies
