JOB SUMMARY:
Facilitate and maintain a periodic inventory record of materials, supplies, and other general stock items; do related work as required. Provides accurate, current inventory data necessary for purchasing decisions. Maintains inventories at optimum levels to prevent under- or over-iinvestment in inventory.
Education and Competitiveness Requirements:
A graduate of any Accounting related courses with at least 2 yrs' experience in construction industry
Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to understand and carry out oral and written instruction
Background in warehousing and inventory is a must
Good knowledge in the fundamentals of inventory controls
Maintains good judgement and analytical skills
Good knowledge of the methods used in keeping records of purchases, delivery receipts, sales invoice and maintaining general supplies
Numerical ability to perform rapid and accurate arithmetic computations using a calculator
Ability to effectively use computer applications such as spreadsheet, word processing, email and database software
Ability to plan and supervise the work of others; maintain good working habits
