INVENTORY & COST CONTROLLER
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Responsible for overseeing the company's inventory management, ensuring accurate levels and cost-effective practices.  He/she aligns inventory levels with company objectives, maintain precise records, observe physical counts, and update records accordingly.  He/she can keep costs at a low level as possible without affecting quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee inventory and supply chain management to maintain optimal levels and according to company guidelines
Manages inventory levels, ensuring accurate inventory records are maintained, and that inventory levels are replenished in a timely manner.
Implement and maintain inventory control systems, maintain updated and accurate records of inventory
Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory levels
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Prepare reports on inventory levels, trends, and needs
Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports; review reports monthly with management.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce inventory costs
Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing inventory procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Management Accounting, Accounting or related field
Work experience in inventory management or similar role
Knowledge of inventory control methods and techniques
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
